Episode 6: Heroes & Handmaids

Kit Kowalski and Edie Wyatt talk about the world of sex and gender from a gender-critical perspective, not just the culture war, but law, policy, activism, feminism and all the nonsense.

Welcome to the Dollhouse Episode 6: Heroes & Handmaids with Kit Kowalski and Edie Wyatt. Where we bring you news and views from the antiopean genderverse and beyond.

The Genderverse

Terf-pons

In the Genderverse this week, we have a new brand of tampons called Garnuu, marketed to biological women with very terfy slogans such as “to the woman who is now labelled a menstruator”.

Riley J “Your Dating Prefs Are Discriminatory” Dennis Playing Women’s Soccer Down Under

Riley J Dennis is a male YouTube content creator, famously torn a new one by the late, great Magdalen Berns for his video “Your Dating Preferences Are Discriminatory”.

Some years ago, Dennis stopped making content and moved to Australia. And plays soccer in a women’s league.

We found out about this after reading this particular article - NSW Police launch probe into ‘online harassment’ of trans soccer player dominating women’s league. Kirralie Smith from Binary has been visited by the police & summonsed to court for claiming to ABC Australia that ‘almost 2,700 emails have been sent to FA through Binary Australia's campaigns page’. In other words, for facilitating public dissent to men in women’s sport.

News.com and ABC.net.au attempted to obscure Dennis’ identity, but Reduxx have done the obvious sleuthing and matched photos on his Instagram to confirm this the same man.

Bonus! Giggle Needs You

Tickle v Giggle: Roxanne Tickle is a man who really, really, really wants to get into the female-only social app Giggle. He’s so keen that he’s willing to take the app & it’s owner, Sall Grover, to the Federal Court.

Sall has just launched her crowd-funder to defend the application. All the details are available at gigglecrowdfund.com

This is Roxanne:

Roxanne plays several women’s sports as well, and has made the claim that he should be allowed because he plays 5th grade, isn’t very good, and is therefore not an existential threat to women’s sport.

Mainstream Media

Cassy O’Connor, Tasmania Greens Senator, is back for Transgender Day of Visibility. She posted an ode from her daughter Stella to her daughter Jasper: A Little Man at Little Manly.

Jasper had an article published in the Guardian entitled I had two options – die or find a way to live as a transgender man. She claimed a transgender identity at age 3.

Australian Politics

Pauline Hanson put forward a proposal in the Senate for "The need for an inquiry into the rising number of children suffering from gender dysphoria in Australia and the increasing number of children being treated for gender dysphoria at gender clinics, to examine the causes and possible remedies for this trend and to ensure that children and their families receive appropriate support and care."

She did quite well expanding on the issues, indicating that she great advisors on this issue. We note that the chamber emptied prior to the vote being taken.

Kit and Edie were reminded of Stephen Bradbury’s famous ‘last man standing’ moment at the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Aunty in the Spotlight

Qanda, Qanda, Qanda

Deni Todorovic - a non-binary model, stylist and activist was promoted using his man-mode.

He appeared on the show in “oh grandma what big feet you have” man mode. Sporting yellow stilettos, he dismissively calls women “Doll” and told them to '“stay home if you don’t like it”.

The Australian even published a piece on it by Brendan O’Neil.

Fear and Loathing in Ballarat

Aunty has noticed and reported on some ‘hateful’ chalking outside its Ballarat offices.

Women have been bringing these messages to the ABC for quite some time. Since 2021, actually.

New information has come to light from and FOI received from Children’s Health Queensland
